1. The 30-day guarantee
The $99 lifetime license comes with a 30-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. If you decide it is not for you within 30 days of buying, we refund you in full. We do not ask you to justify it, sit through a save flow, or prove you tried hard enough. You bought it, it did not fit, you get your money back.
2. How to get a refund
Email hello@slates.video from the address you bought with, or just mention it in the message, and say you want a refund. We send it back to your original payment method, typically within a few business days. There is no form and no portal. One email does it.
3. The free tier never needs a refund
The free version is free, so there is nothing to refund. No card on file, nothing charged. This policy only ever applies to the $99 lifetime license.
4. Why we offer it
The free tier is the real trial. You can run TypeTalk every day with full features before you ever pay, so by the time you upgrade you already know it works for you. The guarantee is there for the one case the free tier cannot cover: you upgrade, and the paid version still does not fit your workflow. If that happens, you get your money back with no interrogation. We would rather have a happy person who moved on than a dollar from someone we did not serve.
